Arctic Trucks seeks an experienced Engineer with a passion for all things automotive. The successful candidate will lead commercialization of new products manufactured in North America and will closely work with team members and suppliers worldwide to bring our exciting products to market.
In the Engineer role, you will:
  • Lead Design for Manufacturing projects to improve throughput and streamline production
  • Develop features, systems, and designs for new and existing products in close collaboration with our Sales team and our Engineering team in Iceland
  • Resolve technical issues found during production and address warranty issues with design revisions and quality improvements
  • Manage full-service suppliers partnering with Arctic Trucks on new and existing products
  • Lead the diagnosis and root cause analysis of field issues and develop and implement short-term and long-term corrective actions, often in remote locations.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
  • Minimum 2 years of engineering work experience
  • Experience and familiarity with all automotive systems
  • Functional proficiency to 3D model and draft in SolidWorks
  • Strong skills with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task
  • Hands-on troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
      Preferred Qualifications:
      • Experience in the development, construction and use of off-road vehicles
      • Passion for the outdoors, exploration and the Environment

       

      Additional Information:

      • Travel requirements – up to 25%
      • Must have a valid Passport or be able to obtain a Passport for international travel
