Enables the fitment of massive 44 inch tires with minimal suspension lift, as the tires are built into the vehicle, which creates that iconic Arctic Trucks look.
Benefits over a traditional suspension lift are many: lower center of gravity, improved weight distribution, lower driveline component stress, higher traversing capability and a more confident driving performance.
This design is the result of decades of engineering and we feel the various awards and world records our vehicles have received is a testament to the benefits of this design.
Our vehicles receive a highly custom designed, reinforced, and tuned suspension systems to provide optimized on & off-road performance for the large and heavy 44″ tires.
Using an in-house developed suspension system is one of the keys to enable our trucks to float on snow and not dig into it.
These systems are developed in a partnership with premium suspension manufacturers such as Bilstein and can be had in a 4- and 8-multilink versions.
The body and frame undergoes extensive changes and improvements. Not just to accommodate the tires and suspension, but also to improve the vehicles strength and dependability.
The original front section of the chassis and almost all parts of the front suspension and steering system is reinforced.
The rear suspension on our high-performance professional vehicles is a custom multilink type suspension system, heavy duty coil springs and high performance shock absorbers.
All vehicles get Arctic Trucks fender flares with an integrated CTIS valve.
The Arctic Trucks snow tire is the Nokian Hakkapeliitta 44 – resulting from the cooperation between Nokian Tires and Arctic Trucks. This tire is especially designed for heavy vehicles and excels in grip and durability.
The tread compound on these tires combines first class winter grip with durability excelling in extreme cold weather. This monster tire weighs approximately 70 kg and is over 1 meter in diameter and is especially tolerant to drive when deflated, and then mimicking a belt/track.
Mud and AT tires choices are also available and selected by our engineers to ensure your vehicle conquers any terrain with confidence.
The 17 inch wheels are 18 inch wide and fitted with a Central Tire Inflation System (CTIS) valve system that is connected to the included air system and controlled by the Arctic Trucks remote tire pressure control system (in-cabin and app).
This allows for dynamic tire inflation and deflation from inside the vehicle. Just set to the recommended tire pressure for the type of terrain you are driving in and the system does the rest.
Driving in challenging situations often calls for single digit PSI settings with tires that are specifically engineered to allow that, which turns the tires effectivily to tracks and allow the vehicle to float on the snow instead of sinking into it.
The front and rear axles are re-geared to 4.88 ratio to accommodate for the large tires, improve performance and maintain optimized fuel economy.
Differential lockers are installed on all axles and connected to the included air system for easy activation.
We understand that each vehicle serves a specific purpose – Our customization services ensure they fulfill that purpose.
Some of the customization options we offer are:
XCT represents the best in terms of performance and reliability in extreme terrain vehicle technology today.
The XCT (Extreme Conditions Technology) classification is given to our highest performance vehicles. They share technology and engineering with our polar expedition vehicles which are engineered, tested, and certified by Arctic Trucks to thrive in the most hostile environments accessible by mortals. XCT represents the best in terms of performance and reliability in extreme terrain vehicle technology today.
Available as a four or six wheel drive. Both will get you were you want to go, just a question of how much stuff you need to bring.
We offer the Arctic Trucks XCT platform on America’s most popular heavy duty truck, the Ford F-350 Super Duty. Possibly the strongest and most capable Arctic Trucks vehicles ever created. Available in two configurations which are built in the USA at our Cheyenne, WY facility.
