Aurora Ford Welcomes Arctic Trucks to Yellowknife, Second Distributor in North America

YELLOWKNIFE, January 30, 2024 – Arctic Trucks and Aurora Ford of Yellowknife have officially entered into a distribution agreement for Arctic Trucks’ vehicle conversions. Serving as the second authorized Arctic Trucks distributor in North America and holding exclusive distribution rights for the Northwest Territories, Aurora Ford is poised to showcase Arctic Trucks’ pivotal AT44 Ford Super Duty conversions alongside other Ford-based products slated for release in 2024.

Lee Cawson, Vice President of Aurora Auto Group for the Northwest Territories, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, stating, “Arctic Trucks’ unique design approach turns these vehicles into incredibly useful tools for this region. We’re very excited to make them available to our customers.”

Kyle Leeds, Director of Sales for Arctic Trucks North America, highlighted the significance of having a strong local partner in Yellowknife, stating, “As a gateway to the Canadian Arctic, it’s important for Arctic Trucks to be represented in Yellowknife by a strong local partner. We’re thrilled to work with Aurora Ford and make our vehicles accessible to the Northwest Territories.”

Aurora Ford is set to host a showing of several Arctic Trucks vehicles in Yellowknife, tentatively scheduled for February 16th-17th, 2024, following their return journey from the Magnetic North Pole. This fleet is part of the Transglobal Car Expedition, a groundbreaking initiative involving explorers and researchers circumnavigating the earth through both North and South Poles over an 18+ month period.
